this mamabear will keep this short but ive been dying to post for a few days... i feel like this neglected blog needs some sunshine!!

so i'll cut to the chase and give you the goods...

here ya go...

we went to visit the Kelloggs this weekend and boy was it fun!! It was so great to have some family time with another family. They were SO good to us, made us SO welcomed and comfortable... Thanks guys - we love you!! (Check out the sweet whispers blog soon for some previews of their session! so cute!!) Ms. Sophia and Jackson sure were cute together... hehe...

but unfortunately mr. jackson wasn't feeling well and decided to start the day at 330am.. so when that happens, the first nap of the day is naturally at 7am while you're eating breakfast........... poor bear :(



i had a few of my photography baskets and apparently jackson thought peek-a-boo was more fun then letting mommy use any of them for pictures with the kelloggs ;)



saturday the kelloggs had a bbq with good friends and family that we stuck around for... jackson was playing croquet with daddy... loved it.




after that just chillin in the grass crackin up at daddy...



we headed home after the bbq... and the next morning was my FIRST mothers day!!!!!!!!! YAHHOOOO! it was so great... daddy and jacksonbear sure were good to mamabear ;) hehe...

my first mothers day gift was from cousin meg-a-doodle -- pink earrings that she made!! can you see 'em... so cute-- thanks doodle! i LOVE 'em :)



and last but not least... my bestest mommy!!! where would i be without you?!?!?! (dont answer that!!!) You have taught me so much and now that I am a mommy myself I cant ever thank you enough for sacrificing so much... i love that we get to share being a mom together!! love you mummy!!!!



alright well thats all for now... the little bear has spiked a temp of 103 and has been waking every half hour or so to be rocked and cuddled... went to our doctor and she was worried too... he was really sad and really upset -- so its off to keep an eye on him... hopefully we dont have to go back although this pattern makes me think we might be.... :( so sad. i HATE HATE HATE when he's sick... its just the saddest thing ever.......
